Caledonian Hotel & Bartons Restaurant

Called in for quick tea after finishing late at work. We did have the split the bill voucher & asked if we could use. The voucher didn't state pre booking was required & this was pointed out to us, but as restaurant half empty we were told we could use. Could not fault the food which was delicious. The wine & beer were good too but the service was shocking except for the male waiter. We felt we were being ignored & most certainly treated differently than the people in booths around us. We have eaten here several times in the past and always loved it but on this occasion when we only wanted a quick bite we left disappointed purely by the service.
